AeroPress Clear Purple is the transparent version of the classic AeroPress coffee maker. It uses the same basic brewing principle as the AeroPress Original, but the brewing chamber is made of clear purple Tritan™, allowing you to see the coffee and water during the brewing process.
With a capacity of approx. 300 ml, the Clear is designed for 1–2 cups and is well-suited for home use, the office, and travel.
What is the difference between the AeroPress Clear and the Original?
The brewing method is essentially the same.
The main difference is the material and the appearance. The AeroPress Clear is made of transparent Tritan™, while the AeroPress Original has a more opaque polypropylene brewing chamber.
The Clear is therefore a great choice if you want the standard AeroPress size, but prefer a transparent brewing chamber and the purple color.

Capacity and filters
The AeroPress Clear has a capacity of 10 oz, equivalent to approx. 300 ml, and is designed for 1–2 cups.
It uses standard-size AeroPress filters. This is the same filter size as the AeroPress Original, among others, and not the larger filters used for the AeroPress XL.
Once you have used the included filters, you can supplement them with AeroPress paper filters in standard size – 350 pcs..
How to use the AeroPress Clear
Coffee and hot water are added to the brewing chamber and left to steep for the desired time. Then, the coffee is slowly pressed through the filter and directly into a sturdy cup or server.
Brewing time, amount of coffee, grind size, and water temperature can be adjusted according to the coffee and your taste.
