The Timemore Chestnut C3S Pro White is a compact manual coffee grinder featuring an all-metal construction, a foldable handle, and Timemore’s 38 mm S2C660 stainless steel burr set.
It is developed as a versatile hand grinder for daily brewing and is easy to store away or take with you on the go.
38 mm S2C660 burr set
The C3S Pro uses conical S2C660 stainless steel burrs with a diameter of 38 mm.
S2C stands for Spike to Cut. The geometry of the burrs is developed to first split the coffee beans and then grind them further through the grinder.
The shaft is stabilized by a dual bearing system, which helps keep the burr set centered during use.
Adjustable from fine to coarse grinding
The grind size is adjusted using the dial under the burr set. Timemore specifies approximately 36 settings on the C3S Pro, so it can be used for several different brewing methods.

Finer grind for espresso
If espresso is your primary brewing method, it is worth paying attention to the choice of model. The C3S Pro can grind finely, but Timemore’s ESP and ESP Pro models have smaller adjustment steps and therefore provide finer control when dialing in an espresso very precisely.

Foldable handle
The Pro version is distinguished by, among other things, its foldable handle. This makes the grinder more compact for storage and easier to pack for travel, camping, or the summer cottage.
The body has a diameter of approx. 52 mm and is made of aluminum alloy, while the burr set is made of stainless steel.

Cleaning
The grinder can be taken apart for cleaning. Use a dry cleaning brush to remove coffee residues from the burr set and internal parts.
Timemore recommends cleaning with a brush rather than washing with water.
