The perfect espresso is the result of an ideal combination of several factors: freshly ground coffee, correctly tamped coffee, the right pressure, and, not least, the temperature of the water. If the temperature fluctuates during extraction, it has a significant impact on the taste experience.
The Sage Barista Express is an espresso machine with a built-in grinder that uses innovative technology to control the temperature throughout the entire extraction process.
The electronic PID system monitors the temperature throughout the entire extraction and ensures a stable temperature. The machine features a low-pressure pre-infusion system, which guarantees a gradual increase in pressure that distributes water evenly across the surface of the coffee in the filter for optimal extraction.
This espresso machine is equipped with a built-in conical metal burr grinder, so you can grind exactly the amount of coffee you need, directly into the portafilter. The ability to adjust grind size and dosage gives you the freedom to experiment and create the perfect cup of coffee that suits your taste.
Additional features help you with this. The Razor dose trimming tool precisely adjusts the amount of ground coffee. The Thermocoil heating system controls the water temperature.
