Produktbeskrivelse

Timemore Digital Milk Thermometer w. Clip

Another great product from Timemore.

Practical and user-friendly milk thermometer with a clip that attaches to the milk pitcher.

Easy-to-read digital display.

Measures from –20 to 120°C

The temperature of the milk is crucial for its ability to maintain the microfoam created when frothing milk. If the milk gets too hot, the microfoam will break down. If the milk is too cold, the proteins in the milk will not create microfoam. Both will result in a flat and dull experience. Achieve the right temperature with this milk thermometer and get delicious, rich, and creamy milk.

It is plasticy
You need a itsy bitsy tiny screwdriver to change the battery, not something everyone has lying around.
Which means you need to get one.
The battery in mine did not work so I had to swap it with the new one they sent with the thermometer...oh wait!
I needed that super tiny screwdriver.
So having waited a day to get that additional piece of equipment, (I picked up my parcel after opening hours so no hardware store was open) I could finally open the device and swap the battery.
Then the start button fell off...plastic.
At this point I probably was a bit annoyed, so I went and bought an analogue thermometer.
So now the digital one found it's resting place in my cupboard.
I know that is on me, but my take away from this is, it is not necessarily the most expensive product that gives you most pleasure.
