AeroPress Carafe 600 ml – brew and serve directly from the same jug
AeroPress Carafe 600 ml is the original serving carafe from AeroPress, specifically developed for brewing AeroPress coffee directly into it.
Instead of pressing the coffee into a mug first and then pouring it elsewhere, you can brew directly into the carafe and serve the coffee from there.
With a capacity of 600 ml, there is plenty of room for a larger brew, coffee to share, or, for example, a large portion of cold brew. The clear Tritan™ construction is simultaneously lightweight, robust, and practical for both home use and on the go.

Original carafe developed for AeroPress
The special thing about the AeroPress Carafe is that it is not just an ordinary serving jug.
The shape is developed to work with AeroPress coffee makers, so you can place the brewer on top of the carafe and press the coffee directly into it.
AeroPress has given the carafe's opening a characteristic hexagonal shape, making it compatible with several sizes and models.

The carafe holds 20 oz / 600 ml.
This gives you more flexibility than a standard coffee mug if you want to brew a larger portion or serve the coffee after brewing.
AeroPress highlights the capacity as suitable for two cups of coffee or a larger cold brew.

Tritan™ – clear as glass, but developed for daily use
The AeroPress Carafe is made of clear Tritan™.
The material gives the carafe a transparent appearance, so you can easily keep track of how much coffee you have brewed, while the construction is lightweight and robust.
AeroPress describes the carafe as shatterproof, meaning it is developed to be far less vulnerable to breakage than traditional glass.
This makes it particularly suitable for AeroPress brewing, where you are actively pressing the brewer down against the container the coffee runs into.
A safe choice for AeroPress XL
If you are using an AeroPress XL, the choice of container during brewing is extra important.
AeroPress advises against pressing the AeroPress XL into glass mugs and glass carafes. The original AeroPress Carafe, on the other hand, is made of robust Tritan™ and developed specifically for both brewing and serving.
The carafe comes with the AeroPress XL from the factory, but can also be purchased separately – for example, as an extra carafe or a replacement if the original has been lost or damaged.

Brew directly into the carafe and serve afterwards
One of the advantages of a separate AeroPress carafe is that brewing and serving are separated from the actual coffee cup.
You can first brew the coffee directly into the carafe and then:
- serve it in one or more cups
- add hot water for a longer coffee
- cool or combine the brew with ice
- work further with a concentrated AeroPress recipe
It provides extra flexibility if you use your AeroPress for more than just one ordinary cup of coffee.
Small pouring spout makes serving easy
The carafe has a small integrated pouring spout, so the coffee can be easily poured into a mug after brewing.
The design is intentionally simple and without handles.

Yes.

It can therefore be used even if you do not have an XL model.
Does the carafe fit the AeroPress XL?
Yes.
The carafe is compatible with the AeroPress Original XL and Clear XL. A 600 ml Tritan™ carafe is also included with these XL brewers.
The separate carafe is therefore ideal as a replacement or an extra serving jug.
