1. Place the blind filter in the portafilter
Add approximately 3 grams of Cafiza powder.

2. Attach the portafilter
Insert the portafilter into the group head.

3. Start the brew cycle
Activate the brew for approximately 10 seconds.

Stop for approximately 10 seconds.

Repeat the process 5 times.

4. Rinse portafilter and group
Remove the portafilter, activate the brew, and rinse the portafilter with water from the group head.

5. Backflush with clean water
Put the portafilter back in without cleaning powder.

Run again:

10 seconds on – 10 seconds off

Repeat 5 times.

6. Rinse thoroughly
Follow the machine manufacturer's final rinsing procedure so that all traces of cleaning agent are removed.

Cleaning portafilters and filter baskets

Cafiza2 can also be used for soaking compatible removable metal parts.

Mix:

6 grams of Cafiza2 per 1 liter of hot water.

For example, place filter baskets, shower screens, and the portafilter's compatible metal parts in the solution for up to approximately 30 minutes.

Then rinse the parts thoroughly with clean water.

When cleaning a portafilter, the handle itself should not be submerged unless the manufacturer expressly states that the material can withstand it.
