How to use Cafiza E31 for backflushing

2. Insert the portafilter into the brew group
Attach the portafilter as normal.

3. Start the cleaning cycle
Activate the brew function for 10 seconds and then stop for 10 seconds.

Repeat this 5 times.

4. Rinse the portafilter
Remove the portafilter and rinse it with water from the brew group.

5. Repeat without the cleaning tablet
Reinsert the portafilter without the Cafiza and run another 10 seconds on and 10 seconds off.

Repeat 5 times.

6. Brew and discard an espresso
Finally, brew one espresso and discard it to ensure that any remaining cleaning agent is removed.
