Start the grinder and let the entire portion pass through the grinder.

5. Grind coffee beans afterwards
Then run coffee beans through the grinder to remove any remaining Grindz. The coffee used for this run-through should be discarded.

If you normally work with a very precise espresso setting, it may be an advantage to note the setting before changing the grinder to medium.
