How to brew with the Hario V60

Place the dripper on top of a cup or coffee server.

Rinse the filter with hot water and discard the rinse water.

Add freshly ground coffee.

Pour a small amount of water over the coffee and let it bloom for about 30–45 seconds.

Continue pouring the water calmly and in a controlled manner over the coffee.

Remove the dripper once the water has drained through.
As a starting point, you can use approximately 60 grams of coffee per liter of water and then adjust the ratio according to your desired strength.
Cleaning and maintenance
Remove the used paper filter and coffee grounds after brewing. Rinse the glass and silicone part with water, and wipe the wooden base gently with a damp cloth.
The wooden base must not be soaked or washed in the dishwasher. Dry all parts thoroughly after cleaning so that the wood is not exposed to unnecessary moisture.
