How the Airscape works
The Airscape uses a two-lid system.
The regular outer lid seals the container, while the inner lid can be moved up and down. When the inner lid is pressed down towards the coffee beans, excess air escapes through the valve. Then, the handle is folded down to lock the lid in place.
Once you have used some of the coffee, the inner lid can be pressed down further next time. In this way, the storage space adapts to the amount of coffee in the container instead of leaving a large empty space above the beans.
The Airscape is not a traditional vacuum container. Its function is based on pushing out excess air and reducing the air volume around the coffee.
Is 250 grams the right size?
